In Greek mythology, Aeolus was the ruler of winds. He kept them in a bag, to be released in Zeus’ command. Drink this young Agiorgitiko and let the winds of Aeolus sweep you away.

Grape Variety: Agiorgitiko 100%     

Vineyards: Mountain vineyards of Nemea region

Harvesting: Hand-picked in early October

Vinification / Maturation: Classical red wine vinification; under the Commission regulation (EC) No 606/2009. Five day maceration with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at approximately 18° C.

Alcohol: 12.5% vol.

Organoleptic Characteristics:

Eyes: Ruby red.

Nose: A combination of red fruits such as cherry and blackberries, as well as aromas of wild flowers and caramel.

Palate: The vivid but smooth tannins, along with the cool sense of acidity make for an easy and juicy wine with a light body.

Food Pairing: This young Agiorgitiko can accompany multiple and simple dishes like soup, pasta with light sauce and white meat. Can also be enjoyed with fresh cheese or on its own as an aperitif. Served chilled at 13° C.
